This website compares and contrasts the lives and experiences of the children of Rathlin Island and Hallig Oland (in Germany). It is designed for children as active, independent learners.
In this resource we'll practise map-reading skills, evaluate photographs and text, work with specific vocabulary, compare past and present, and compare two environments, cultures and languages. The final activity (Build an island) will consolidate our learning and demonstrate what we have achieved.
